Bij carnaval hoort muziek, verkleden en
polonaise. Maar ken jij ook het tonpraten
al? Vraag het maar eens aan je ouders –
grote kans dat ze dan moeten lachen!
Bij tonpraten staat iemand in een houten
ton, verkleed als bijvoorbeeld een bakker
of burgemeester. Die vertelt grappige
verhalen en mopjes over bekende
mensen of dingen uit het dorp.

Carnival is full of traditions, and one of them is a comedian act that involves a wooden
barrel, called ‘Tonpraten’. Never seen it before? Then the 66th Brabantsedag Tonpraten
